I have known Jessica since before she was 2 years old. They moved into a house down the street from ours and our families became instant friends. In fact, My parents and her parents still live in the same homes and are still besties! Jessica was the most adorable little girl and she has turned into the most beautiful bride! Connor, you got yourself a good one! Jess, you didn’t go wrong with Connor either, he is one of those “give the shirt off his back for you” kind of guys. He has such a big heart (Just look at his expression when he see’s his bride for the first time!).
I was so excited when these two asked me to photograph their wedding. What made it even better is that they were both concerned that I wouldn’t feel like a guest. Let me tell you something, I LOVE being a guest at a wedding, but even more than that I love taking photos of weddings. When I get to take photos of people I truly care about, it’s such a great honor and it makes for the best time! S
ince I was a guest and their photographer, I changed my clothes and fixed myself up just before they got introduced into the reception. Side note, I’m going to start bringing a change of clothes, some make-up and a hair brush to every wedding. I felt SO MUCH better after taking off my sweaty clothes and fixing myself up a bit! Anyway, I got to put my camera down for a bit during the reception and dance with friends, it was such an amazing night!
Jessica & Connor chose the STUNNING Langtree Plantation in Mooresville, NC to host their day and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Langtree is one of my favorite venues. Their getting ready suite is a stunning White House with windows for days (ya’ll know I love windows ;))! The property has a few different ceremony sites and they chose to do theirs in the beautiful barn! One thing I love about Langtree is that there is a separate building for the cocktail hour and the reception which makes for such a smooth transition!
Their dusty rose bridesmaid dresses paired so perfectly with all of the greenery and gold accents! Most of their vendors were actually close friends to them! I had the honor of being their photographer. Jessica’s aunt Kathy made the stunning bouquets and all of the florals and I swear her bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I’ve seen!! The cake and the entire desert table was made by a close family friend, Sherri. I was blown away by the cake! When I asked who made her cake, I was expecting a high end professional wedding cake baker! Their pastor, Tony Harper, is also a close family friend! How special is it to have so many people that you love come together to pull of an amazing wedding day! It was perfect!
Jessica and Connor, I wish you guys the happiest of marriages. Thank you so very much for not only letting me witness you guys promise forever to each other, but for letting me do what I do best, and capture the day for you! I love you guys!
