As a wedding photographer in a big city such as Charlotte, there are so many beautiful locations that I’ve never even seen or heard of! When Jessica told me that they had this super cool park near them that they often visit, I just knew we had to do their engagement session there! Village Park is amazing.  The white round-ish building that you see in the photos actually houses a double-decker, restored Marry-go-round! There are so many events that take place at this park that I had absolutely no idea about! I’m so glad we got to explore it!

The tunnel that you see in the photos was super cool.  We walked through and down this path to what we thought was a business park but it actually ended up in the most beautiful field of tall grass! Now, to the average eye, this was just an over grown swampy field on the side of the road (seriously, I definitely felt the need to check for ticks when I left! Ha!).  To my photographer eye, it was heaven!

Jessica and Andy are such a loving and adorable couple.  I could spend hours just talking with them! Jessica seriously knows how to work the camera, I need to bring her along with me to sessions to show people how it’s done!! Towards the end of the session, I would begin to say “okay now –” and before I’d finish they knew exactly what to do. I loved it! Thanks for becoming professional models for the day guys, you did amazing!!
