A Northstone Country Club Wedding in Huntersville, NC | Georgie & Matt

Georgie and Matt’s wedding was EPIC to say the least. I knew it would be great because they are the most amazing people AND it was at one of our favorite venues, Northstone Country Club in Huntersville, NC. I met the two of them at their engagement session and have been in love with THEIR love ever since! It’s so real and true and they are seriously each other’s biggest fans! They are always building each-other up and they are equally obsessed with each other. What better way to love!

They are both so laid back and easy going and laid all of their trust in me to capture their day and let me tell you, their photos DID NOT disappoint! Georgie did 4 first looks, that’s right FOUR! How amazing is it to have four people that are special enough to get this honor on your wedding day?! First was her brides-man (her BFF and biggest cheerleading for her and Matt’s relationship). I shed a tear… Then she did a first look with her brother… another tear. Then her dad and at this point I’m wishing I had packed some make-up. Finally, Georgie and Matt did their first look and at this point I’m just all smiles because it’s been such an amazing day!!! (wait for it)

The two of them had an intimate ceremony with their closet family and friends and read their own vows. Oh and the ceremony looked like a styled shoot I would have paid money to go to! It was the perfect mix of class and boho… STUNNING!!!! Special shout out to Emily Frank with Blumengarten for the absolutely best florals I’ve ever seen!!!

Fast forward to their reception. Georgie and Matt have their first dance and it was beautiful. It’s time for the father daughter dance and dad say’s he has a surprise. There is a special song to Georgie and Matt by Hollywood Anderson. Her dad tells her that he has been taking guitar lessons to learn how to play that song for them. He whips out a guitar and starts playing it and singing the song then mentions that he needs to stop because he can’t sing and HOLLYWOOD ANDERSON WALKS IN THE DOOR. Georgies mouth hits the floor. And the best husband award goes to —– MATT. apparently he’d been reaching out to him for months and finally talked him into this surprise. Dad also had a slew of other surprises including her a message from her grandmother that couldn’t travel from the UK.

It was such an amazing day. I knew how special Georgie and Matt were but I was amazing at how amazing their entire group was. I don’t even have to wish you an amazing marriage because their is no doubt in my mind that you’ll have the best marriage ever. Enjoy reliving their perfect day!! <3
