Emily and Shawn were supposed to get married in March just before NC entered into the Stay Home Order due to COVID-19. They had to make the tough decision to postpone their special day… Then June rolled around and they had to make that decision all over again. FINALLY on October 10th they got to say their vows in front of their closest family and friends and it was amazing!
It was a beautiful rainy day. you normally wouldn’t hear a wedding photographer say those two words together but Jacqueline Jones Photography and rainy weddings kind of go together. I have probably shot more rainy weddings in my life than sunny ones… At least an equal amount but I absolutely love it!!! My hair doesn’t love it and my shoes don’t either but at this point in my career I’ve learned to bring a spare pair of shoes (or two!!) and make rainy wedding days the most beautiful weddings ever!!
Shawn and Emily I’m so glad you two found each other. The love you have for each other is so vividly present and I adore it! I wish you two the happiest of marriages and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!! <3
