Ashlee and JJ are officially married!! It’s so crazy how quickly that day comes. When you first get engaged and choose your wedding date it feels like it’s going to take forever to get here and then before you know it, your walking down the alter to marry the love of your life!
I’m so glad Ashlee and JJ chose The Barn at Blueberry Hill as their wedding venue! It’s seriously stunning and everyone there was so incredibly kind and helpful! The venue is in Elkin, NC which is a tiny little town in the foothills of the mountains and believe it or not, Cory used to live there! That’s actually where we were living when we got married! After I graduated from college, I landed a job at a medical supply company and Cory and I packed our bags and moved there. It was seriously one of my favorite times in our lives. Elkin is such an amazing town full of amazing people. We even got to grab coffee with an old friend before the wedding!
Ashlee and JJ have a love that radiates! It’s amazing to see how much JJ loves Ashlee’s son and their daughter. The 4 of them together seriously make the most amazing family. I have had the amazing opportunity to watch this family grow. I knew Ashlee when she and my sister were in high school. They would go to my apartment and play with my dog Riley and I even remember them bringing my crazy dog into the car dealership I worked at once! Ashlee then had a son a few years later, met JJ shortly after, and they had a daughter together. She contacted me after their sweet Kinsley was born to take some newborn photos and I was ecstatic to see her again! Then JJ popped the question and I just had the pleasure of capturing their wedding! It’s been such a beautiful Journey that I’m so grateful to have been a part of.
